Absent any coherent argument in defense of the civil war era chosen label: “Dixie”, WeAreDixie has waged an anonymous personal attack campaign on multiple specific individuals in our community.
One member of WeAreDixie, Paul Brunell, asks nearly everyone within hearing range: “Do you think I am a racist?” I have met no other individual in 54 years who does that. I am not a mental health therapist, but I hope he considers seeking help for the benefit of our community.
Mr Brunell is now costing us valuable time reviewing his multiple defamatory online posts with our attorneys to decide a best course of response to his lunacy.
“WeAreDixie” literally means: the people think they are Dixie. They think a re-branding exercise is a criticism of them personally. They make a mistake beginning architecture students sometimes make. Criticism of a word is not criticism of them.
