One Stop, Aldous Harding

One Stop

“I’m going to write what I know.”

“I’ve been away too long.”

“Why did you think I wouldn’t meet you?” AH

Is there any other option?

Yes.

The distance.

“One stop.” Between the locations? Or does it mean death? Or does it mean an end of a thing? It is an offer to relieve the sitting in planes?

Not a direction, to the unwelcomed. That would be: One, stop.

To see you now inside a specific, round place. A perhaps leftover place. It held water, or something else.

It holds you, imagination, perhaps from your history.

Moving around in imagined fluid.

Resting near a cast, round place.

Thinking of others.

Replaying thoughts of others.

Name dropping.

Writing what I know. Not writing what it knows.

( ) didn’t think you wouldn’t meet me.

( ) am holding myself together post the wreckage.

A wreckage honesty makes.
