I can’t know if upon seeing Laszlo Kiss (architect) in the street if I would punch him in the face, or invite him for drinks. What do you do to a person who fucked your chances at grad school? I mean in a way it opened up other routes for me. Stubbins for sure, I would not have been at Stubbins if I went to grad school in 1990-ish. But he (Laszlo) fucked me pretty good with that one bad grade. And then they (Ohio State) didn’t ask him back to teach again. Or maybe he chose not to come back to Ohio. People do that. Choose not to go back to Ohio. He did invite me to see his Soho studio (when I contacted him in NYC) and to guest crit at Parsons. So Karma speaking, I think we are golden/even. I would probably still ask him to drink with me. He taught me high modernism in like 5 minutes. That is not nothing.
I
am death. We covered this in an earlier prompt. Have no fear. I am death.

A panel discussion at the 43rd Public Interest Environmental Law Conference
video by Pi-Des
“Wolves in the western U.S. are subject to a patchwork of protections based on arbitrary political boundaries – not science – because of congressional actions and legal decisions. While California’s population is increasing at an encouraging rate, Oregon’s wolf population has entirely stagnated and Washington’s report of an annual increase is suspect. Poaching is an increasingly serious problem in western states, and the odd split of federal and state authority complicates investigations and enforcement of anti-poaching laws. We’ll discuss the legal status of wolves in Oregon, Washinton, and California, the state of the science on coexistence between wolves, humans abd their livestock, and the challenges of confronting agency decisions not grounded in the best available science.
Panelists: Cascadia Wildlands – Amaroq Weiss, Danielle Moser, Bethany Cotton & Dr. Francsico Santiago-Avilla.” -PIELC conference guide, pg 18.
